Pete Garfinkel

Pete Garfinkel is a performing musician with over 20 years of experience.  He began playing old-time and bluegrass in South Carolina and discovered his love for traditional Celtic music.  Pete regularly played in two bands, The Ugly Customers and Grey Mare Hollow, while in South Carolina and traveled to regional festivals and area Celtic pubs to perform.  Pete relocated to Oregon and was a founding member of The Nettles, a hard driving Contra Dance band that performs for regional dances and festivals. Pete recorded his first CD while in Oregon with The Nettles.  Pete moved to Kansas in 2000 where he began writing blues songs and cut a second CD while performing with The Red State Blues Band.  Since then, he has returned to his roots, writing and performing old-time and country music.  Pete is currently writing, co-writing, and recording demos in Nashville and Kansas.
